ROBOSCULPT

The Robosculpt project, completed in 2018 during the "Design Through Making" course, was commissioned by the robotics department. The goal was to learn Rhino-Grasshopper by creating parametric designs. In the first phase, a robot arm was programmed to draw intricate patterns inspired by intersecting lines. In the second phase, in collaboration with two other students, we developed a tool for the robot arm to imprint rotating designs onto clay tiles. The project explored the versatility of parametric design, with adjustable sliders allowing endless pattern variations in both 2D and 3D.
