ZERO WASTE BREAKFAST

In 2021, a personal project sparked my curiosity in new materials, focusing on bioplastics and material research. I began experimenting with bioplastics to transform waste streams into new, useful materials. Through this study, various waste streams were mixed with bioplastics, allowing me to explore both the properties and aesthetics of the materials. Agar agar, gelatin, potato starch, and cornstarch served as bases, while household wastes were added to observe their impact on the material properties. Ultimately, I chose a material made from eggshells and coffee grounds with a gelatin base, creating zero-waste breakfast tableware from breakfast waste.
